All BT Buses, Services Closed for Independence Day: Saturday, July 4
All Bloomington Transit buses and services will not operate on Saturday, July 4th. The Downtown Transit Center customer service window and BT offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd. All buses and services will be back to regular schedules and hours on Sunday, July 5th.

All BT Services, Offices Closed for Juneteenth: Friday, June 19
In observance of Juneteenth, all Bloomington Transit buses and services will not operate on Friday, June 19th. The Downtown Transit Center and BT offices will also be closed. All buses, services and buildings will be back to regular schedules and hours on Saturday, June 20th.

In observance of Memorial Day, all Bloomington Transit buses and services will not operate on Monday, May 25. The Downtown Transit Center and BT offices will also be closed. All buses, services and buildings will be back to regular schedules and hours on Tuesday, May 26.

2026 Summer Fun Pass for Students K-12 Now On Sale!
Back again for 2026, Bloomington Transit’s Summer Fun Pass is now available for purchase. For only $12, students K-12 can enjoy UNLIMITED rides on BT fixed-route buses from May 21–August 5. Summer Fun Passes are on sale at the Downtown Transit Center (301 S Walnut St) and BT offices (130 W Grimes Ln). Typical customer

2026 Summer Schedule
In effect starting Sunday, May 10. The following routes WILL NOT be in service: 9L, 12, 14. The following routes will have SUMMER service: 6, 9. Downtown routes will operate normally. Schedule will be in effect until the start of IU fall semester.
