BUS OPERATOR
BPTC is currently seeking applications for fixed route bus drivers. Desired candidates are those who enjoy working with people, are committed to safety, and have a good driving record. Paid training program provided; full-time employment upon successful completion of training. Pre-employment drug screen required as well as BMV license and felony background check. Must be fluent in English. State law requires applicants be 21 or older. GED or HS degree required. Previous experience not required. Must be able to work varying days and hours including weekends.
FULL-TIME MASTER MECHANIC
Perform maintenance inspections and vehicle repairs on diesel buses, gasoline vans, and other vehicles. Perform vehicle breakdown repairs on road. Basic knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines and AC Systems repair required. Prepare and document repair records. Good physical condition/driving record required. Some heavy lifting required. Must be able to obtain/maintain CDL license with passenger endorsement following in-house training.
Hours include nights/weekends. High school diploma or GED required. Pre-employment drug screen required as well as BMV license and felony background check.
FULL-TIME TRANSIT SERVICE ATTENDANT
Duties include cleaning and washing buses inside and out, fueling buses, cleaning facility and grounds; other duties as assigned. Experience in basic repair, maintenance and upkeep of vehicles required. Good physical condition/good driving record required. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, late nights, and weekends.
