The 2023/2024 Student Reduced Fare ID will be available starting August 1. Students grades K-12 can ride for $.50 per ride by showing the purple Student Reduced Fare ID when boarding Bloomington Transit buses. The Reduced Fare ID is required to ride for the reduced amount. Students can use cash or the cashless Token Transit app when boarding.
Get your new ID by visiting our customer service staff at 130 West Grimes Lane Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm or at the Transit Center at 301 South Walnut Monday-Friday between 7:00am and 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Bring one of the following to obtain the ID:
1 Current Student ID
2 Itinerary of current classes
3 Most current report card or letterhead from school stating enrollment
4 Homeschool students can bring a birth certificate showing age 5-18
