The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the FY 2024 proposed program of projects for which Federal capital assistance would be sought under 49 U.S.C. Section 5307, 5307 Flex-STBG, and Section 5339.ย The proposed program of projects is described as follows:

Total Federal funding is from Section 5307 funds in the amount of $6,000,000; STBG Flex funds in the amount of $4,048,558; Section 5339 in the amount of $1,100,000 for BPTC FY2024 capital projects. Total available federal funding including all sources is $11,148,558.ย At the hearing, the BPTC will afford the opportunity for any interested persons or organizations to make comments on the proposed program of projects.ย Copies of the proposed program of projects are available for public inspection at 130 West Grimes Lane administration office and on the website at www.bloomingtontransit.com.ย Written comments will be received at BPTC at 130 West Grimes Lane, Bloomington, IN 47403 no later than May 21, 2024.ย Unless substantive comments are received either in writing or at the public hearing which result in changes to the Program of Projects by the BPTC Board of Directors, the proposed program of projects shall become final.
