The Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation’s 26th Annual Stuff-A-Bus will partner with Hoosier Country 105.1, B97, Chandler Funeral Home, Eagles, Griffin Realty, Curry Auto Center, Be Hair Now Salon, Fat Daddy’s BBQ, Johnny’s Signs, Natural Wood Floors, LLC, Target, TJMaxx, Wonderlab, AMVETS Post 2000, AMVETS Sons, and AMVETS Auxiliary with all donations going to the Monroe County Indiana Department of Child Services to help make the holidays merrier for children and families in need in our community.
We have also created an online shopping experience that will end December 12 through Amazon for those who want to purchase donations through our Amazon Registry. The Amazon link allows people to purchase items from a registry that we have set-up and will maintain throughout the Stuff-A-Bus event with those items being shipped directly to the Stuff-A-Bus via Amazon. Bloomington Transit will unveil the 26th Annual Stuff-A-Bus on December 4th at Chandler Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Stuff-A-Bus will visit locations throughout Bloomington December 4th through December 13th. The goal is to literally “STUFF” the decorated Bloomington Transit bus completely full of donated unwrapped new toys, clothes, children’s coats, gloves, and mittens.
Persons wishing to make a donation to Stuff-A-Bus can drop off their items at the bus during the days and locations listed below. If persons can’t make it to the Stuff-A-Bus, they can drop off their donations at Bloomington Transit’s main office at 130 West Grimes Lane; Griffin Realty, Curry Auto Center, Fat Daddy’s BBQ, Be Hair Now Salon Hoosier County/B97 or to schedule a pick-up contact Brenda Underwood at 812-961-0523.
