Walnut & Grimes Detour June-August

Due to construction on South Walnut at the Grimes Lane intersection and surrounding area, beginning June 4, Route 1 South will detour on the inbound trip on its way to the Transit Center. From Grimes Lane it will turn north onto Lincoln Street, west onto Dixie, and north onto Walnut Street to its normal path of travel. The inbound bus stops on Grimes & Walnut and Walnut & Davis will be closed. Passengers may catch the bus at the existing bus stop on Grimes & Lincoln or at the stop sign on Dixie & Walnut as indicated with black squares on the map below. This detour is expected to last until the beginning of August.
