Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation (BPTC) on April 17, 2018, 5:30 p.m., at the BPTC Conference Room, 130 W. Grimes Lane, Bloomington, Indiana.ย The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the FY 2018 proposed program of projects for which Federal operating and capital assistance would be sought under 49 U.S.C. Section 5307. The proposed program of projects is described as follows:

Total FY 2018 federal funds under 49 U.S.C. Section 5307 available to BPTC for capital and operating projects are about $2,279,332. In addition, carryover Section 5307 funds of $726,623 are available and $360,000 in federal Section 5339 funds. Total available federal funding including all sources is $3,365,955.ย At the hearing, the BPTC will afford the opportunity for any interested persons or organizations to make comments on the proposed program of projects. Copies of the proposed program of projects are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Bloomington Transit Offices, 130. W. Grimes Lane, Bloomington, IN 47403. The offices are accessible for persons with disabilities. Written comments will be received at BPTC at the above address no later than April 17, 2018. Unless substantive comments are received either in writing or at the public hearing which result in changes to the Program of Projects by the BPTC Board of Directors, the proposed program of projects shall become final.
