The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the FY 2021 proposed program of projects for which Federal operating and capital assistance would be sought under 49 U.S.C. Section 5307, 5310, and 5339.ย The proposed program of projects is described as follows:

Total FY 2021 federal funds under 49 U.S.C. Section 5307 available to BPTC for capital and operating projects are about $2,780,843ย In addition, carryover Section 5307 funds of $479,794 are available and $4,325,000 in federal Section 5339 funds.ย A total of $149,000 is available in Section 5310 funding.ย Total available federal funding including all sources is $7,734,637.ย At the hearing, the BPTC will afford the opportunity for any interested persons or organizations to make comments on the proposed program of projects.ย Copies of the proposed program of projects are available for public inspection on the website at www.bloomingtontransit.com/category/news/.ย Written comments will be received at BPTC at 130 W.Grimes Lane, Bloomington, IN 47403 no later than May 18, 2021.ย Unless substantive comments are received either in writing or at the public hearing which result in changes to the Program of Projects by the BPTC Board of Directors, the proposed program of projects shall become final.
