Street closures Saturday, October 5th:
The Midway Music Festival is planned on W 6th Street between N College and N Walnut (all day) and Bicycle Street Sprints will occur on E Kirkwood between Lincoln and Indiana (10 am to 6:30 pm) resulting in the following routes detouring as follows:
Route 1 returning to Transit Center from the south side will travel along Atwater to Woodlawn, Woodlawn to 3rd St, and 3rd St back to Washington.
Route 1 North leaving Transit Center will travel east on 3rd Street to Dunn/Atwater, then north on Indiana.
Route 1 returning from the north side will take 7th St to south onto Washington to reach the Transit Center.
Route 2 returning to Transit Center from the west will turn south onto College from 6th St, then east on 3rd to Washington to reach the Transit Center.
Route 2 West outbound from the Transit Center will travel north on Walnut to west onto 7th. ย
Routes 3, 4 and 5 arriving to Transit Center from the east side will travel west on 3rd St to Washington. the Transit Center will travel east on 3rd to resume normal routing at 3rd and Dunn/Atwater.
