The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Order requiring masks on public transportation conveyances and at transportation hubs is no longer in effect. Under the guidance of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Bloomington Transit has lifted the public transportation mask mandate. Those riding with Bloomington Transit vehicles or using Bloomington Transit facilities are no longer required to wear a mask.
CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time. Those who wish to wear a mask may do so.
