Tuesday, May 7, 2019 is Municipal Primary Election Day and Bloomington Transit is operating without charging bus fare. Passengers are not required to show passes or IDs when boarding the bus throughout the entire day.
In addition, May monthly passes are being sold at the reduced rate of $28.00 while Reduced Fare May passes are $14.00. May passes are on sale now at the downtown Transit Center (M-F 6:45 am to 11:00 pm, Saturdays 8:15 am to 6:30 pm) and the BPTC office at 130 W. Grimes Lane (M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). Bank cards are acceptable as credit only, not debit.
