Effective July 1, 2021, Bloomington Transit will resume the following pre-pandemic procedures:
- Fare and ticket collections
- Bus operators checking Monthly and Semi-Annual Passes
- Bus operators verifying transfer slips and pertinent IDs (students, Reduced Fare, etc.)
- Front door boarding and alighting
- EXCEPTION – The federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) mandates that all persons continue to wear masks on buses and waiting areas, which includes the downtown Transit Center, through September 13, 2021.

Tickets, Passes, and Reduced Fare IDs will be available beginning June 24, 2021 at the downtown Transit Center and BT office at 130 West Grimes Lane during normal business hours.
