Continuation of Pandemic Measures

Bloomington Transit is continuing the following policies and procedures through at least January 20, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Continuation of free rides for fixed route and BTaccess service. Passes and IDs will not be checked nor sold.
  • Passengers must get on and off the rear doors of the bus. Passengers with mobility devices such as a wheelchair, cane, or walker, may continue to use the front doors. Passengers with disabilities without mobility devices may use the front door by asking the bus driver  
  • Continued closure of the downtown Transit Center indoor area and restrooms. It is only open for Miller Transportation tickets sales and general questions. Loitering and waiting inside is not permitted.
  • Mask wearing is mandatory one buses and at bus stops per Monroe County health order. Customers must maintain social distancing whenever possible.
  • Masks are available for those without one on all buses while supplies last. 
  • Grimes Lane offices remain closed. Lost and found pick-up is by appointment only.
