What is BLink?
BLink is the new face of demand-response public transportation provided by Bloomington Transit. BLink is comprised of three distinct service types: paratransit (“BTAccess”), microtransit, and late nite on-demand.
In addition to our BTAccess Paratransit services, BLink offers a direct route to and from designated stops for riders in any of the three BLink zones. No eligibility is required to use BLink microtransit. Download the BLink app from the Apple App or Google Play stores or visit book.blink.rideco.com to book your ride.
BT late-nite on demand is a partnership program with Uber and Lyft to provide discounted rides to passengers between 9pm and midnight Monday – Friday. Users can use the BLink app to book an Uber late-nite trip. For Lyft late-nite trips and to see more about the rules and parameters of the late-nite program, please visit the BT Late Nite On Demand section of the website located under the Maps & Schedules header.
For information on paratransit services and eligibility, see the BTAccess portion of the website.
How much does it cost?
BLink rides are $2 per one-way trip.
Passengers can pay on board using cash, in the BLink app with a credit card, or by purchasing a microtransit ticket on Token Transit and presenting the valid ticket to the driver upon boarding.
Passengers need to select which form of payment they will be using when they book.
Exact fare is required โ drivers will not make change.
NOTE: If using a credit card in the BLink app to pay for your trip, you will be charged at the time of booking. If you cancel your trip, a refund will not be issued. You can receive ride credits in lieu of a refund that may be used for future bookings.
Hours of Operation/Service Area
BLink operates Monday through Friday from 6am to 7pm. Rides may be booked up to 24 hours in advance. Passengers may experience fewer trip options during peak travel times of 6:30-8:30am and 3:30-5pm. Plan your travel accordingly. It is recommended that critical trips, requiring a drop-off at a specific time, be made in advance.
