Bicycle Lockers

Want a safe place to store your bike downtown before you take the bus of after you get off? Take advantage of our free bicycle lockers! Consult the Bloomington Transit Passenger Service representatives on duty and they will open a locker for you to stow your bike along with related equipment such as a helmet or jacket and lock it up. When you wish to recover your property from the locker, a service representative will unlock the locker for you. Although electric power-assisted bicycles of normal bicycle size are allowed in the locker, bicycles with internal combustion engines are prohibited.

Lockers may be used during hours and days on which Bloomington Transit is operating bus service. Weekday hours are 6:20 AM until 11:10PM. Saturday hours are 8:00 to 6:40.  All contents of bicycle lockers must be removed by their owner before the Transit Center is closed each evening.  Access to the lockers will not be available until the Transit Center re-opens.  At their option, the Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation may remove and dispose of contents of lockers which were left past the end of business hours at the transit center.
