Lost items can be retrieved Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Bloomington Transit office located at 130 West Grimes Lane. The building will not be accessible to the public at all other times. If you leave something on the bus, call us at 812-336-7433, as soon as possible for promptness and safekeeping. Lost items found on BT vehicles are sent to the Bloomington Transit office at 130 West Grimes Lane at the end of the driver’s shift. Sometimes, the lost item isn’t discovered until the buses are cleaned late at night or early the next morning. At no time does the BT assume responsibility for lost items. Items are kept for two weeks after being found.
