The 4th Street Art Fair on Friday, August 30 from 8:00 AM through Saturday, September 1 will close 4th St between Lincoln and Indiana Ave. Grant St and Dunn St will be closed between Kirkwood and 3rd St.
Route 5 outbound will detour from the Transit Center east onto 3rd St, skipping Lincoln, Kirkwood, and Dunn bus stops.
Route 5 inbound and all other routes are unaffected.
Pride Fest on Saturday, August 31 – from about 1:00 PM and through rest of the evening will close East Kirkwood between North Walnut and Washington Streets.
This, combined with 4th Street Arts Fair road closures will detour the following bus routes as follows on August 31:
- 1 North Outbound – leaving Transit Center will detour onto N. Walnut to east on 7th, missing bus stops on Lincoln, Kirkwood, and Indiana.
- 1 North Inbound – will travel west on 7th to south on College and into Transit Center, missing bus stops on Dun, Kirkwood, and Washington.
- 1 South Inbound – will travel from Walnut to east onto 3rd, merge onto Atwater, turn north onto Woodlawn, and west onto 3rd en route to the Transit Center, skipping bus stops on 3rd, Indiana, Kirkwood, and Washington.
- 2 West inbound – from 6th St will turn south onto College then to Transit Center, skipping bus stops on Washington.
- 3 East Inbound – will travel from 3rd St directly to Transit Center, missing bus stops along Indiana, Kirkwood, and Washington.
- 4 South Inbound – will travel from 3rd St directly to Transit Center, missing bus stops along Indiana, Kirkwood, and Washington.
- 5 Inbound – will travel from 3rd St directly to Transit Center, missing bus stops along Indiana, Kirkwood, and Washington.
- 5 Outbound – will travel from Transit Center onto 3rd St onto Atwater
All other bus routes will operate their regular paths of travel.
