BTaccess is Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation’s ADA paratransit transportation service for persons with disabilities who, by means of a disability or health condition, prevents them from using the Bloomington Transit fixed route bus system for all or some of their travel.
BTaccess is a curb-to-curb service or door-to-door depending on passengers’ needs. Drivers can assist passengers between the van doors and the first set of doors of buildings, but are not permitted to enter buildings. If BPTC finds an applicant eligible, BTaccess vans can pick them up and take them anywhere within the Bloomington city limits during the same days and hours as the Bloomington Transit fixed route bus system.
