Route 10: Temporary Service to New IU Health Hospital

With the opening of the new IU Health Hospital scheduled for December 5th, 2021, BT will begin servicing the location with an additional fixed route–Route 10. The route will operate on a temporary basis until service changes recommended through BT’s Route Optimization Study go into effect in Summer 2022. Recommended service changes include a permanent fixed route–Route 90–designed to serve the new hospital, along with other major east side destinations.

Route 10 connects the Downtown Transit Center with the new IU Health Hospital via 10th St. The route will operate with a 1hr frequency Monday-Saturday, with a reduced span of service on Saturdays.
