Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation (BPTC) on the following schedule to receive public comment concerning proposed service improvements to fixed-route bus service on the west side of Bloomington.
The purpose of these meetings is to gather feedback on route changes concerning the Route 3 West and 13. Bloomington Transit is proposing to combine the Route 3 West and 13 into one travel pattern on the west side.
Additional information will also be provided on Bloomington Transit’s upcoming network changes, including expanded BLink Microtransit options and improved technological capabilities.

Proposed Service Improvements: Route 16 West side
- Overview
Route 16 is essentially a combination of the existing Routes 3W and 13
Route 16 runs on a 90-minute schedule; from departure, all the way around, to arrival back at the Downtown Transit Center
Planned implementation date: Monday, June 1st - Monday-Friday
First trip leaves DTC at 6:40 a.m., last trip leaves DTC at 9:10 p.m.
There are three buses on Route 16, departing the Downtown Transit Center 30 minutes apart, at :10 and :40 after the hour - Saturday
First trip leaves DTC at 8:10 a.m., last trip leaves DTC at 4:40 p.m.
There are three buses on Route 16, departing the Downtown Transit Center 30 minutes apart, at :10 and :40 after the hour - Sunday
First trip leaves DTC at 8:10 a.m., last trip leaves DTC at 3:40 p.m.
