2020 Stuff-A-Bus

To mark the 21st year anniversary, of the Stuff-A-Bus, Bloomington Transit will partner with Hoosier Country 105.1 and B97 to help make the holidays a little merrier for children and families in need in our community.
Because of the pandemic we are making some changes to Stuff-A-Bus this year to
protect our community and coworkers. There will be a bin placed in the front of the door of the bus for contact free donations. We have also created contact free shopping experiences through Amazon and Wonderlab for those who want to purchase donations contact free. The Amazon link below allows people to purchase items from a registry that we have set-up and will maintain throughout the Stuff-A-Bus event and those items will be sent directly to us via Amazon. The Wonderlab link below allows people to purchase items from the Wonderlab gift store and be delivered to Stuff-A-Bus.
Bloomington Transit will unveil the festively decorated Stuff-A-Bus on December 3. The Stuff-A-Bus will visit a number of shopping centers and retail locations throughout Bloomington from December 3 through December 13. The goal is to literally “STUFF” the decorated Bloomington Transit bus completely full of donated unwrapped new toys, children’s coats and mittens.
Last year with the help of area stores and our generous community we were able to
collect over 5800 new toys, stuffed animals, new coats, hats and mittens for needy
children and families in our community. The donated items will be distributed to families in the Monroe County area that have requested assistance through the Salvation Army. Persons wishing to make a donation to Stuff-A-Bus can drop off their items at the bus during the days and locations listed below. If persons can’t make it to the Stuff-A-Bus, they can drop off their donations at Bloomington Transit’s main office at 130 West Grimes Lane; or to schedule a pick-up, contact Brenda Underwood at 812-961-0523.
