Must be able to obtain/maintain CDL license with passenger endorsement following in-house training. Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening, and BMV and criminal background checks are mandatory.

PART-TIME SECURITY/CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE ATTENDANT

Part-time security and customer assistance attendant for our Downtown Transit Center. This position provides security and assistance to passengers with route and scheduling information, light custodial duties, pass, punch card, and ticket sales.  High school diploma or GED required.  Pre-employment drug screen required as well as BMV license and felony background check. We offer competitive benefits.

FULL TIME MECHANIC

Perform maintenance inspections and vehicle repairs on diesel buses, gasoline vans, and other vehicles. Perform vehicle breakdown repairs on the road. Basic knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines and AC Systems repair preferred. Prepare and document repair records. Good physical condition/driving record required. First and Second shifts available with staring wage $21.84.

FULL-TIME TRANSIT SERVICE ATTENDANT

Duties include cleaning and washing buses inside and out, fueling buses, cleaning facility and grounds; other duties as assigned. Experience in basic repair, maintenance and upkeep of vehicles required. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, late nights, and weekends. Starting wage $15.00

BUS DRIVERS

We need candidates who enjoy working with people, are committed to safety, and have a good driving record. Paid training program provided, pre-employment drug screen required as well as BMV license and felony background check, must be fluent in English, State law requires applicants to be 21 or older. Previous experience not required. Must be able to work varying days and hours including weekends.  Training wage $14.00 per hour after training $15.84 per hour. 

PART TIME BTACCESS  OPERATOR

We need a candidate who enjoy working with people with disabilities, are committed to safety, and have a good driving record. Duties include driving and operating BT Access vehicles in a safe, courteous and timely manner according to a schedule while transporting elderly passengers and passengers with disabilities. Accurately record fare, time, mileage, and other necessary information on the schedule. Operate wheelchair lifts, operate vehicle smoothly and safely, and conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety. Assist disable passengers at the curb with packages and boarding the vehicle as needed, properly secure wheelchairs, and other mobility devices.

Pre-employment drug screen required as well as BMV license and felony background check.  Must be fluent in English. GED or HS degree required. Must be able to work varying days and hours including weekends. State law requires applicants be 21 or older. Must be able to obtain/maintain CDL license with passenger endorsement following in-house training. Training wage $14.00. Wage after successfully completing training $14.75.
