Fare is due upon entering the bus. Fare tanks accept cash or coins. Drivers do not carry change, so please have the correct amount of change ready when you board. There is an ATM and change machine in the Transit Center. Tickets are to be placed in the bill slot of the fare tank. Transfers and passes are to be presented to the driver.
Paying reduced fare or using reduced fare passes or tickets, including the mobile version, requires presentation of a valid BT Reduced Fare ID, BT-issued student ID card, or Medicare card to the bus driver. Any patron not presenting one of these ID cards will be required to pay the regular fare. No refunds will be given. Click HERE for information on Reduced Fare, passes and tickets.
Passes and tickets are for sale at two locations: the Downtown Transit Center at 301 S. Walnut St. and the Main Office at 130 West Grimes Lane. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). Bank cards are acceptable as credit only, not debit. The main office is open Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4:30 pm. The Transit Center is open for ticket and pass sales Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 11 pm.
